And the number one song of the 1980’s is……

1)  Don’t Stop Believin’  by:  Journey
This turned out to be tougher than I thought.  While I was doing this, I thought of so many other songs that need to be included, so this will be the “BIG 80’s”  part one.  Please leave a comment for me reminding me of some songs I might have forgotten.  I don’t see the top 8 changing, those are definitely the top 8 songs of the 1980’s.  This list really only includes the pop genre.  Part two might include punk and hard rock.

  1. I agree with most of these songs, especially number 1. I would take out number 23 and 18 and replace them with “Europe - The Final Countdown” and “Thriller - Michael Jackson”

  2. Thriller I agree with. Europe’s song will be listed in the top Rock genre of the 80’s, along with Van Halen etc.
