U.S. Department of Labor Interest Inventory

So I go down to this employment agency to look for work.  They happen to have a test, or questionnaire to help them decide what field of work you would be best at doing.  I took a copy with me, because it was so funny.  The questionnaire is called an Interest Inventory, developed by the U.S. Department of Labor, 1981.  It gives you 162 job choices, and you are supposed to mark L for Like, ? for I don’t know if I like it or not, or D for dislike.  Steph and I laughed so hard, we couldn’t really fill out the form.  Here is a sample of some of the questions.

Q# 149 -  Sort fruit according to size.  (now there’s the career move I’ve been waiting for)
Q# 111 -  Ride racehorses professionally
Q# 80   -  Perform high diving feats
Q#10    -  Play a professional sport
Q#118  -  Raise fur-bearing animals  (???)

The list goes on forever, but I saved my favorite for last.  Here is what is listed for #79.

Q#79 -  Ride a bucking bronco in a rodeo.

I marked a big L for that one.  I think my next career move should involve riding a bucking bronco.
