Visit to Ogden Park in Wilmington, NC

James and I decided to visit Ogden Park this morning. It was a beautiful morning to go and play. James gets very bored in the house so I try to take him out when I can. This is the third time he has been to this park.
The park is located behind Eaton Elementary School. There have a lot football and soccer fields there. Many different leagues play on these fields, including Pop Warner Football and Cafe Fear Soccer League. On the far side, they also have tennis courts. We go to the the best part, the playground. (It is situated next to a large pond with sprinklers.)
They have two large jungle gyms, one for older kids and one for toddlers.
Don’t forget the swings…everyone loves them! They have regular swings and baby swings. James had fun on them but his attention span is about 2 minutes long so he was ready for something new.
We played and talked to many other kids and moms today. Everyone is very friendly there. It’s nice for the kids to talk and learn from each other. James learned from a new friend how to slide down the slide by himself. He was very excited and didn’t want to stop. I think we will try to visit the park more often.

I went to a park once. They had swings, but I learned that I didn’t have a long attention span either…wait, what was a talking about?
Heavenly place?? It is more like hell with the heat.
